The defending champions Bolívar Voley remained unbeatable in the 2019/20 Argentine Men’s Volleyball Championship regular season even after eight matches and even after playing fierce rivals UPCN San Juan Voley Club in the “clásico”.

At the closing of Weekend 5 of the 2019/20 Liga Argentina de Voleibol regular season, Bolívar beat UPCN in the biggest derby of an Argentine male volleyball by a 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-20). Although an intense match is expected when the two most-titled sides in the country meet, the current form favored Bolívar and they justified this role to remain at the top of the charts without suffering a single defeat (8-0).

By collecting 23 points, the team coached by Javier Weber has as many as five points more than the closest followers in the standings, Gigantes del Sur. UPCN came fifth with 3-5 and 11 points. Cuban opposite Jesús Herrera top-scored for Bolívar with 21 points. His compatriot Miguel Ángel López made 11 points for the losing side.

TUR W: VakıfBank’s hellish plan – Bartsch to come in January, Egonu in summer!

Re: @Game changer Kim is doing better this season than last. I think She was made captain of Ecz Vitra. Natalia is doing fine. She does great in regular matches. The only issues I see is she doesn't kill the ball in important matches. Novara can't afford Boskovic. She is making at least $1M euros per year.
