POLISH CUP M: Zaksa grab the trophy!

Zaksa Kedzyerzyn Kozle have proved that they are ruling in Poland at the moment.

 

In the final of the Polish national Cup, Zaksa have downed the Jastrzebski Wegiel in four sets 3-1 (25-20, 25-13, 25-27, 25-17).

The top placed team currently in Plusliga have taken the first two sets in a pretty much convincing way, while Jastrzebski answered in the third, extending the game to the fourth set.

However, Zaksa against turned on their beast mode and smashed the rival to win the trophy of Polish cup 2019.

Lukasz Kaczmarek was the best scorer in Zaksa with 17 points, while Alexander Sliwka contributed with 16. Rafal Szymura and Lukasz Wisniewski added 15 points each.

On the other side, Dawid Konarski ended the game with 20 points.

Men’s Polish Cup, finals:

Zaksa – Jastrzebski 3-1 (25-20, 25-13, 25-27, 25-17)

Semifinals:

Zaksa – Zawiercie 3-1 (25-19, 25-20, 20-25, 25-17)

Jastrzebski – Onico 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-14)

As exciting as it is to see foreigners putting up a show for your fans, it does nothing to help the development of the local talents. And some teams even have Filipino Americans playing as 'locals', while still having the additions of foreign players on the same team as well. Why not just have those Fil American count as the foreigners, so they won't take the space of locals? The Philippines ranks #117, I think you guys should get your act together first. Even North Korea ranks higher, has a NT and program, but no league........and that says a lot. lol Reply
