POL M: Things get complicated for Skra, Resovia beat them in four sets!

PGE Skra Belchatow have suffered the third defeat in a row in the Polish Plusliga.

 

Resovia have managed to defeat PGE Skra Belchatow and to push them into a very difficult situation. Their place in the playoffs is not secured, they need now to fight for it...

Thibault Rossard was the most dominant player with 29 points to create the 6th win for Resovia out of 17 games. On the other side, Renee Teppan had 21 points.

Zaksa have remained unbeaten eve after 16 games. They have claimed the top spot after beating Jastrzebski Wegiel on the road in straight sets 25-20, 25-19, 25-20.

Plusliga:

Jastrzebski – Zaksa 0-3 (20-25, 19-25, 20-25)

Cuprum Lubin – Bedzin 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-23)

Resovia – PGE Skra Belchatow 3-1 (23-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-22)

AZS Olsztyn – Gdansk 2-3 (25-20, 16-25, 18-25, 25-19, 11-15)

As exciting as it is to see foreigners putting up a show for your fans, it does nothing to help the development of the local talents. And some teams even have Filipino Americans playing as 'locals', while still having the additions of foreign players on the same team as well. Why not just have those Fil American count as the foreigners, so they won't take the space of locals? The Philippines ranks #117, I think you guys should get your act together first. Even North Korea ranks higher, has a NT and program, but no league........and that says a lot. lol Reply
