Zenit Kazan and Kuzbass Kemerevo have scored the wins at the start of the Russian championship playoff semifinals!

Zenit Kazan's trio Mikhailov (19 points), Anderson (16 points) and Ngapeth (15 points) created the first win in the semifinal series against Fakel Noviy Urengoy. The away side was close to tie the score after performing well in the second set, however,  they didn't manage to do it, letting Zenit double the lead in sets.

In the third, Fakel couldn't do anything to stop the reigning champions and they let them win the first game.

Kuzbass Kemerevo have also scored a 3-0 win over Zenit ST. Petersburg. Even though it was a 3-0 win, the home side had many difficulties, especially in the second and the third set.

Re: @Youshen
Probably because the final consisted of only two teams, so a dream team wouldn't really be representative of the champions league and a bit unnecessary, but that's just my opinion :) Reply
