Eczacibasi have continued the winning streak in the domestic league.


Eczacibasi have downed the league newcomer in straight sets, revealing some weaknesses of the Turkish Airlines team.

However, the away side showed a big potential, especially in the third set, proving that they can play against the favorites.

The top scorer of the game was the Serbian opposite Tijana Boskovic with 20 points, while Jordan Larson and Kim Yeon Koung scored 10 each. On the other side, Aneta Havlickova had 18 points.

Eczacibasi now have a 5-0 score, while Turkish Airlines have three wins out of five matches.

As exciting as it is to see foreigners putting up a show for your fans, it does nothing to help the development of the local talents. And some teams even have Filipino Americans playing as 'locals', while still having the additions of foreign players on the same team as well. Why not just have those Fil American count as the foreigners, so they won't take the space of locals? The Philippines ranks #117, I think you guys should get your act together first. Even North Korea ranks higher, has a NT and program, but no league........and that says a lot. lol Reply
