The reigning champions Vakifbank have scored another win in the Turkish women's Volleyball League.

Vakifbank have scored the fifth victory to keep sharing the first place along with Eczacibasi. 

The top scorers of the away side were Milena Rasic and Ebrar Karakurt, who scored 13 points each, while Zhu Ting and Kelsey Robinson had 12 points each.

What an incredible atmosphere in Aydin! It was really nice playing here, receiving so some much love and passion from so many people! Aydin is not only a new great team but also a very nice new volleyball town in Turkey! I wish also national team can play in this atmosphere sometimes,“ says Giovanni Guidetti after the game.

The Yellow Angels have also scored the win. They defeated Galatasaray in straight sets 25-19, 25-16, 28-26. Melissa Vargas was the most dominant player of the game with 16 points.

Fenerbahce – Galatasaray 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 28-26)

Aydin – Vakifbank 0-3 (13-25, 18-25, 21-25)

Beylikduzu – Canakkale 3-0 (26-24, 26-24, 25-20)

Halkbank – Ankara Karayollari 0-3 (24-26, 23-25, 27-29)

Friday:

Eczacibasi – Turkish Airlines 3-0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-23)

 

Sunday:

Nilufer – Besiktas 15:30 CET
