TUR M: The playoffs quarterfinal pairs are well known, Halkbank to meet Ziraat

The reigning champions Halkbank have ended the 22nd round in a victorious way to finish the season in the first place.


They already know the rival in the playoff quarterfinals. It’s Ziraat Bankasi,  a team that ended the game in the 8th place.

Arkas will meet Belediye Plevne, while Galatasaray are going to meet Istanbul BBSK. Maliye Piyango and Fenerbahce will fight for the semifinals.

There is also one more game to be played but it won’t change anything in the standings.

Men’s Turkish league, round 22:

Fenerbahce – Inegol 3-1 (25-23, 25-17, 20-25, 25-15)

Ziraat Bankasi – Jeopark 3-2 (25-9, 29-31, 15-25, 25-15, 15-10)

Arhavi – Halkbank 0-3 (19-25, 17-25, 25-27)

Arkas – Istanbul BBSK 25-22, 25-23, 12-25, 16-25, 15-11)

Galatasaray – Afyon 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-21)


Belediye Plevne – Maliye Piyango

No way to bring a Japanese libero to Fenerbahçe because of the restriction for foreign players. And also Mamba doesn't look like to join Fenerbahce because of Melissa Vargas. Reply

But today she helped to crush Vakif. She is good, i compare her with Gabi. If Fener would win...i wish they win ! I thought she want to go to Italy, strange. Reply
