Fenerbahçe Opet and PTT closed the 10th round of the 2019/20 Turkish Women’s Volleyball Championship regular season with a marathon match.

Fenerbahçe emerged victoriously from a marathon match of Round 10 of the 2019/20 Vestel Venus Sultanlar Ligi regular season against the home side of PTT. The newcomers made title favorites “bleed” for a win: 3-2 (22-25, 25-18, 28-26, 24-26, 15-13).

Because of such resistance of PTT, several players had to stand out for the visiting side in order to leave Ankara in a good mood: Serbian outside hitter Brankica Mihajlović tallied 32 points, Eda Erdem Dündar made 8 kill blocks, while Bahar Toksoy Guidetti served 6 aces. As for PTT, Peruvian Ángela Leyva scored 24 points, while Cemre Janset Erkul set up as many as 9 kill blocks.

Fenerbahçe came in third in the charts with 8-2 and 23 points.

Re: @Game changer Kim is doing better this season than last. I think She was made captain of Ecz Vitra. Natalia is doing fine. She does great in regular matches. The only issues I see is she doesn't kill the ball in important matches. Novara can't afford Boskovic. She is making at least $1M euros per year.
