The rivalry between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray is epic in Turkey in all sports, so is in volleyball. In only 7 days, these 2 sides faced in both male and female Turkish Volleyball Championship regular season. And players wearing Fenerbahçe’s jersey were better on both occasions. In Round 15 of the 2019/20 Vestel Venus Sultanlar Ligi regular season, it was 3-0 for “Fener“, partially 25-21, 25-23, 25-20, who recorded the 9th win in a row. Eda Erdem Dündar highlighted the winners with 15 points (5 kill blocks). Greek Anthi Vasilantonaki scored 14 points for Galatasaray. Each of the clubs maintained positions in the charts which they held prior to the game – Fenerbahçe No.2 and Galatasaray No.4.

The leaders VakıfBank extended their winning streak to 10 games, while 2nd placed Eczacıbaşı VitrA had an easy job against Beşiktaş. Türk Hava Yolları ended their own 3-game losing streak to progress from the 7th to the 5th position in the charts. At the same time, they left last-placed Beylikdüzü Voleybol İhtisas winless even after 15 games.
