„I tried to jump to attack and felt a pain in my left leg. Then it turned out that I tore a calf muscle. This is a typical injury for a volleyball player. A lot of guys had it. Among them Michał Winiarski. Teammates helped me to leave the court. I had the MRI scan. The results were sent to the doctor of our team. He looked and said that there is no drama. I’ll have a break, about three or four weeks. Maybe I’ll go to have the treatment in Poland. The decision, together with people from my club, will be made in the next few days,“ Kubiak explained how he got injured to “Przegląd Sportowy“ and added that he would like to be ready to play Emperor’s Cup semi-final, which will take place on the eve of Christmas.

So far, Kubiak had an amazing season as well as his club Panthers, who won all eight matches in V-League and is the leader in the standings.
