These five volleyball players were the top scorers of the World Champs U21 European qualifiers. It is interesting that two of them coming from Portugal, the team that didn’t manage to advance to the second round of the European qualifiers.

We have to single out that Bruno Cunha and Lourenco Martins were very good until the meeting against Serbia, where they were struggling to score a point. Serbia’s Miran Kujundzic averaged 14,3 points in three games, that was enough to push his team to the round 2, but not to join this list.

Martins also dominated in serve segment, as he averaged 4,66 aces per game. Watch his strong serve.

Top 5 scorers:

1. Bruno Cunha (Portugal) – 23 ppg (3 games)

2. Edin Ibrahimovic (Austria) - 22,3 ppg (3 games)

3. Lourenco Martins (Portugal) 20,67 ppg – 4,67 aces per match (3 games)

4. Robert Adrian Aciobanitei (Romania) 20ppg (2 games)

5. Ivar de Waard (Netherlands) 19,3 ppg (3 games)

Recall that Serbia, Belgium, Germany, Bulgaria, France and Latvia have managed to reach the World Champs 2nd round of Qualifiers.

All I am saying, it is same guys having bad attitue as always. Wining hides weaknesses, but loosing brings that type of behaviour especially with those 4. And you are right is no Kovac mistake, and yes he needs more time. Reply
