ITA W: Modena withdraw from competing in CEV Cup, ask for Champions League wild card

Italian Women’s Volleyball Championship runners-up Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena withdrew from participating in the 2018 CEV Cup.

Modena won the right to compete in the second ranked club competition under the European Volleyball Confederation, the CEV Cup, next season, but they informed CEV that they will not take part in it, volleyball.it revealed the info.

Modena expressed a willingness to accept a wild card for the 2018 CEV Champions League, if the CEV decides to award it.
