The second FIVB U 23 World Championship for Women is finished and Brazil is the winner!

In the big final Brazil has defeated the host team, Turkey with 3-1 and in that way they won the first gold medal in this category.

It was Turkey’s  first defeat in the tournament. 22 block winners were the key for Brazil’s  triumph.

Best scorers of Wednesday’s gold medal clash were captain Rosamaria Montibeller for Brazil with 17 points and Kubra Akman for Turkey with 16 kills.
