He is doing well in Verona so far.

What are the reasons for losing the important games so far this season?

Honestly, our opponents are very strong. Also, we were struggling with them but since we have put behind the difficult games, we are going to compete with the teams that are currently below us in the standings. So we have the chance to take some victories that will boost our position in the standings.“

Savani left the team recently but Matey Kaziyski arrived.

“Savani left the team, but instead of him, Matey Kaziyski joined our team. He is a great player and he is already contributing. Well, I had some good displays and I can confirm that I’m enjoying this competition.“

How media treat the Iranian players in Italy?

There are some good articles about the Iranian players. A few days ago La Gazzetta dello Sport had a beautiful article about Saeed Maarof.“

Your plans for the next season?

I will wait till the end of the league, then we will see what will happen. I will consider all offers. But, I’m very satisfied here in Verona. Everything will be clear at the end of the season,“ says Manavinejad.
