The best scorer of the 2018/19 Polish Men’s Volleyball Championship, Maciej Muzaj, will play in Russia next season.

Maciej Muzaj, the Plus Liga 2018/2019 regular season best scorer (542 points) and player with most MVP of the Match awards (seven), will compete in the Russian top division next season.

Muzaj spent most of the ongoing season in Trefl Gdańsk before he moved to ONICO Warzsawa for the Plus Liga 2018/2019 playoff semifinals on the basis of medical transfer, while he agreed to terms with Gazprom-Yugra Surgut for the 2019/20 season.

Re: @Piotr

To go where? All top PlusLiga teams have their squads sealed and he won't get the salary he deserves in the weaker teams. Not to mention you don't travel to Surgut, in center of nowhere, just because you'd like to freeze to death. All top players will go to a club which offers playing regularly in CL and primarily - big money.

RUS W: Despite renewing with Dinamo Moscow, Ognjenović will join VakıfBank

Wow! Ognjenović had some heated clashes with the Vakifbank coach on court while she was playing for EcZ. I have seen in one video that she was screaming at him. Ognjenović is fiery and the captain of the National Serbia team and is considered one of the best setters (and smart) in the world. I like this move. The current setter for Vakifbank makes bad decisions(and poor sets) at bad times that caused them. Reply
