The Italian Men’s Volleyball top division team Consar Ravenna signed Canadian opposite hitter Sharone Vernon-Evans for the next season.

A 20-year-old Canada national team member Vernon-Evans will spend the next two seasons in the jersey of Ravenna, the Italian top division side, his agent published.

The opposite hitter played the last two season, his only two seasons as a professional player, in the Polish ONICO Warszawa, finishing runners-up in the 2018/19. The 2017 NORCECA Championship Best Opposite Hitter mostly acted as a backup in the Plus Liga side.
