Polina-Rahimova
Bauru persuaded their top scorer but also the top scorer of the championship last season, Polina Rahimova, to continue wearing their jersey. The Azerbaijani opposite hitter scored 428 points in the 2019/20 Superliga Feminina season.
In addition to Rahimova, Bauru renewed with the outside hitter Tifanny Abreu, the setter Danielle Lins “Dani Lins”, the middle blocker Adenízia Silva, and the libero Júlia Machado.
The team from the São Paulo State secured three new signings: Dominican libero Brenda Castillo (no club, recovering from the left arm fracture sustained in the traffic accident in August), the middle blocker Mara Leão (Osasco/Audax), and the setter Carolina Leite “Carol Leite” (Sesc RJ). She will replace Naiane Rios, who moved to Osasco/Audax.
