QATAR CUP M: Police advance to Qatar Cup finals, Ahli and Arabi tied at 1-1

In the second matches of the Qatar Cup semifinals, Police SC secured the second victory and entered the finals, while Al Ahli SC defeated Al Arabi SC 3-2 in an interesting match and tied the score at 1-1. The decisive match for entering the finals of the Qatar Cup is scheduled for February 16.

In the first game of the day Al Ahli SC defeated Al Arabi SC 3-2 (29-27, 17-25, 27-25, 23-25, 15-11).

Roman Danilov scored 27 points, Miguel Angel Dalmau 18 and Aleksei Spiridonov 16 points for Al Ahly SC. It should be mentioned that Thiago Oliveira and Nikola Vasić brought the necessary stability for Al Ahli SC by entering the game and thus led their team to victory. For Al Arabi SC, Rozalin Penchev with 25 points was the top scorer while Bojan Đukić added 21 points.

In the second match, Police SC defeated Qatar SC 3-1 (26-24, 25-20, 20-25, 25-22).  Oliver Venno was the top scorer of Police SC with 20 points while Wilner Rivas added 13. Konstantin Bakun scored 24 points for Qatar SC and was the top scorer of the match.

February 11, 2021:

Police SC – Qatar SC 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-23)

Al Arabi SC – Al Ahli SC 3-1 (25-19, 27-29, 31-29, 29-27)

February 13, 2021:

Al Ahli SC – Al Arabi SC 3-2 (29-27, 17-25, 27-25, 23-25, 15-11)

Police SC – Qatar SC 3-1 (26-24, 25-20, 20-25, 25-22)

February 16, 2021:

Al Ahli SC – Al Arabi SC

Finals – February 19, 2021:

Police SC – ?
