No.2 Barkom-Kazhany swept No.7 Burevisnyk-SVSM by a 2-0 in the series in the 2017/18 Superliga playoff quarterfinals and will play the semis. Game 2 ended by a 3-0 (25-14, 25-20, 26-24) in favor of Barkom.
No.3 Novator did the same to No.6 Yurakademiya, but by making a 3-1 win in Game 2.
The fourth-seed VK MHP-Vinnytsya prevented a surprise, for now, as they tied the series against No.5 Sertse Podillya at 1-1.
Earlier, the top-seed Lokomotyv won the series against No.8 KP VK Dnipro by a 2-0.
