Antonio Carraro Imoco Conegliano cruised past Alliant MTV Stuttgart in the first leg of the 2020 CEV Women’s Volleyball Champions League quarterfinals.

Italy’s champions Imoco gave no chance to Germany’s titleholders Stuttgart in the first leg of the 2020 Champions League quarterfinals. The competition runners-up didn’t fall into the Stuttgart’s trap in which they caught Imoco’s rivals from Serie A, Igor Gorgonzola Novara, in the pool stage. Imoco cruised past German opponents and winning two sets in the rematch at home will launch them to the semifinals: 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-20).

Paola Egonu led Imoco with 20 points. American Krystal Rivers tallied 14 points for the losing side.
