TRANSFER BOMB IN TURKEY: Polina Rahimova moves from Pomi to Turkish Airlines club

1627 0

Polina Rahimova has left the Italian team Pomi Casalmaggiore in the middle of the season.

He had a big reason for that – signing a contract with a big project in Turkey, a team with the highest possible goals, the Turkish Airlines club.

The Azerbaijani star has left the farewell message to Pomi and the fans.

Before leaving Italy I want to say big thanks to Pomi for giving me a chance to play in one of the best championships in the world, all staff for improving. I am grateful to the team for all sweet moments together and the biggest THANK YOU to all supporters who are still texting non-stop and wish many good lucks! I found many friends here! That was a good experience! Ciao,” writes Polina on Instagram.

We are looking forward to her new challenge in Turkey, where she already played in the last season as a member of Fenerbahce.

PHI W: Foton and Sta. Lucia open Superliga in a winning way

As exciting as it is to see foreigners putting up a show for your fans, it does nothing to help the development of the local talents. And some teams even have Filipino Americans playing as 'locals', while still having the additions of foreign players on the same team as well. Why not just have those Fil American count as the foreigners, so they won't take the space of locals? The Philippines ranks #117, I think you guys should get your act together first. Even North Korea ranks higher, has a NT and program, but no league........and that says a lot. lol Reply
