POL M: Petkovic in PGE Skra Belchatow

Dusan Petkovic, a 27-year-old Serbian opposite, who has successfully played in the Italian league in the last two seasons, is new player of PGE Skra Bełchatow.

 

“We have been watching this player for a long time and we belive he will be great reinforcement for our team”, says Skra president Konrad Piechocki.

The Serbian opposite will replace Renee Teppan in the Bełchatow team, whose contract will not be extended.

Petković was member of Argos Volley Sora in last two seasons and was one of the biggest stars in the Italian league. In the main part of the previous season he was the the best scorer, with 590 points.

“I am very happy that I will be part of this club. This is a challenge for me and I will do my best to help my team achieve the goals in the upcoming competitions. I've been watching them for a long time and I think that  PGE Skra Bełchatow has great fans. Playing for them will be a great pleasure”, says Petković.

Wow! Ognjenović had some heated clashes with the Vakifbank coach on court while she was playing for EcZ. I have seen in one video that she was screaming at him. Ognjenović is fiery and the captain of the National Serbia team and is considered one of the best setters (and smart) in the world. I like this move. The current setter for Vakifbank makes bad decisions(and poor sets) at bad times that caused them. Reply
